Toothpaste is not only useful for brushing your teeth. It can indeed help us clean and detach many everyday objects. Be careful, these tips work with very white toothpaste. Most of these toothpastes contain titanium dioxide, the famous E171. This nanoparticle, strongly suspected of being carcinogenic and of being an endocrine disruptor, is widely used in industry (candies, drugs, etc.).
Fill a small hole in the wall
Are you moving and, once your photo frames are unhooked, you can't leave your apartment with holes in the wall? No need to get out the filler and the trowel: with the flat of a knife, fill the hole with toothpaste.
Regain the sharpness of your white shoes
Are your favorite white sneakers looking gray? Give them back the shine of the first days by applying on them, after having moistened them, a little toothpaste, with a toothbrush as long as necessary.
Clean pencil and marker marks on the walls
The gentle abrasive action of the toothpaste works wonders. If your children have scribbled on the walls, with markers or pencils, gently rub the stain with a little toothpaste placed on a sheet of paper towel. Press lightly with circular motions to dissolve the colors.
Shine the soleplate of the iron
Does your iron show traces of burning? Do not panic ! Before buying a new one, you could get it back. When cold, rub its sole with a little toothpaste on absorbent paper. Rub in small circles to remove all traces of burnt.
